In all cases, after our work is complete, the sump pump will come on significantly less, often not at all.  This is the goal:  To prevent the water from entering the home and not catch it after it has entered via a very costly basement French Drainage system, exterior French Drain, or an interior or exterior waterproofing system. French drains rely on the sump pump as the primary source for evacuating water so if your sump pump fails, your basement will flood more rapidly.  We attack water penetration at its source and stop the water from entering your basement long before it ever makes it to the sump pump.  With our technique your sump pump will operate 75%-95% less, often resulting in a dry sump pump well.

If you don’t stop the water from entering it will always lead to bigger issues (such as increased health concerns due to poor air quality).  It has also been said that moisture under the basement floor can trap Radon, leading to the possibility of it dissipating into your home.  Most companies advertise basement waterproofing on the interior walls.  Waterproofing is recommended only after the water issues are solved outside, relieving the water pressure on the foundation.  It is nonsense to believe interior waterproofing alone will permanently solve your water problem. 

In the case of a severely damaged foundation wall there are solutions we can help with such as crack repair, wall anchoring, support columns, etc…  When possible, we would repair from the inside to minimize cost.  This is only to be done after the water penetration problems are addressed outside the home.
